Tree Felling

To remove the tree and cut the stump down to ground level.

Crown Thinning

The removal of branches within the crown of the tree, usually to allow more light to penetrate through

Crown Lifting

The removal of the lower branches to give the effect of ‘lifting’ the crown of the tree

Crown Reduction

Reducing the height of a tree, and re-shaping accordingly.

Crown Cleaning

The removal of dead, dying or diseased branches within the crown of the tree. Can also include the removal of crossing/rubbing branches.

Tree Planting

We can supply bare root saplings to more mature trees. We source our trees from accredited nurseries and we plant our trees to the British standard.

Hedge Trimming

Trimming new growth to keep the hedges looking neat, with the traditional shears or our motorized trimmer.

Stump Grinding

The remaining stump can be ground out to approx 15-20 cms below ground level, ideal for those wanting to turf, put a fence up, to lay a drive or flowerbed where the tree has been.

Protected Trees

If our quote is accepted and the tree has a Tree Preservation Order or is within a Conservation area, we will apply and deal with the local Authority to seek permission on your behalf free of charge.

 

Majority of the tree works that we undertake are in the Baildon, Bradford, Ilkley ,Leeds, Menston Shipley areas, however, we do cover all areas in the Yorkshire district.

We recycle all of the resultant waste from our jobs.

Branches and small trunks are fed through of woodchipper and left to rot down, to create garden mulch/chip. Which we sell in the following ways:-

Collected from our yard £1.00 a bag -

Delivered within a 10 mile radius £1.50 a bag

Delivery by Transit Tipper load (which covers approx 3 Cubic Metres) – £30.00

Thicker branches and Tree trunks are split with an axe and are sold on for firewood logs
Which we sell in the following ways:

Collected from the yard – £2.00 a bag

Delivered within a 10 mile radius – £2.20 a bag
