In the past couple of months Gary and Jamie have been creating hardwood sculptures carved with standard chainsaws. What started off as a bit of fun in their spare time has rapidly progressed into a successful venture.

We now get regular visitors into our yard to see what creation Gary and Jamie are doing next. If you're lucky you can even watch them carving away! The carvings have usually sold before they have even been completed. Gary and Jamie are always up for a challenge and are willing to carve almost anything. Please see below a picture of the most recent carvings. Prices vary on every sculpture, depending on how much detail is requested.

G P Gill Ltd. is a family owned business, specialising in the field of Arboriculture for both residential and commercial clients. The majority of our work is carried out locally throughout the West Yorkshire region, however, we have undertaken contracts from as far a field as over the Pennines in Lancashire, to the east coast resort of Bridlington.

PROFESSIONAL

We successfully carried out extensive tree works for a client involved in the construction of the new A650 Bingley Relief Road project on behalf of The Highways Agency. We cover contracts from felling one small tree to felling a whole woodland. No job is too little or too large for the company.

EXPERIENCE

As an indication of his experience, Gary Gill began working with trees as soon as he left school, following in his fathers footsteps. As a result, he now has over 30 years experience in the industry, and is a well known and well respected Contractor in this area.

Working first for other local businesses to learn his trade, and then working for himself as a sole trader, Gary's reputation as a first class tree surgeon soon became well known in the area. His reputation led to more and more work through recommendations, and he therefore took the decision to form a Limited Company in 1994.
