CROWN THINNING

The removal of branches within the crown of the tree, usually to allow more light to penetrate through.     CROWN LIFTING The removal of the lower branches to give the effect of 'lifting' the crown of the tree. CROWN CLEANING The removal of dead, dieing or diseased branches within the crown of the tree. Can also include the removal of crossing/rubbing branches.   CROWN REDUCTION & RE-SHAPING Reducing the height of a tree, and re-shaping accordingley.   STUMP GRINDING We have a light weight stump grinder ideal for getting your stump below ground level.   TREE PLANTING We are able to supply you with a free quotation to carry out tree planting       FIREWOOD LOG SALES Some of the timber from the work that we carry out is recycled to produce firewood logs (as seen in the photo below). These are on general sale throughout the year.   £1.50 a bag,  free delivery within a 10 mile radius. £100.00 a loose load on a Ford Transit open back approx 2 tonnes,  free delivery within a 10 mile radius. £250.00 a Wagon load approx 4 tonnes,  free delivery within a 10 mile radius.   Please see the bottom of the page for a map showing a rough guide of the 10 mile radius.     GARDEN MULCH/WOODCHIP SALES Branches from tree surgery are recycled through a wood chipper to produce wood chip. This is then left to rot down to produce garden mulch/wood chip.   £1.50 a bag,  free delivery within a 10 mile radius. £30.00 a Ford Transit open back approx 3 cubic metres,  free delivery within a 10 mile radius. £60.00 a Wagon load approx 10 cubic metres,  free delivery within a 10 mile radius.   We request that the customer must be on site to take receipt of the delivery and payment is requested. A delivery charge will be applicable outside the 10 mile radius, but a fair price can be negotiated for a delivery anywhere in the UK.
